The house
Where tradition, comfort and nature meet.
Casa Branca has belonged to our family for generations — it was our great-great-grandmother's home and, over the years, has been carefully restored to welcome guests while keeping the charm of the old village houses: stone walls, timber ceilings and the warmth of traditional textiles.
Set in Souto de Lafões, it opens onto the rural landscape — fields, old paths, streams and the mountains beyond. Outside, the garden and barbecue invite open-air meals and long afternoons watching the valley. It comfortably sleeps 10 (14 on request).

The heart of the house is outside.
The garden is one of Casa Branca's most special spaces. Long lunches in the shade, family barbecues and afternoons in the sun — always with the magnificent views over the Lafões valley and mountains as a backdrop.
Open-air meals, family barbecues and the quiet of the countryside. We only ask that you keep the space tidy and use the barbecue safely.
